Kia ora. Kia orana. Talofa. Greetings.
Welcome to the Tainui Full Primary School community.
We are proud to share with you our school.
We trust that you will find your time at Tainui Full Primary School stimulating, rewarding and enjoyable.
This website is to inform you about some of our activities and requirements for children attending our school.
This page in particular will be regularly updated keeping you in the loop about what is current within our school.
All our children have the opportunity to strive towards excellence. One way we celebrate excellence is through our Prize Giving event at the end of the year.
This event is sneaking up fast.
See you all on Thursday 7 December at 6:00pm to celebrate a great year of learning and fun.
Be Prepared – School Uniform
Next year our School Uniform becomes compulsory.
Your child/ren will need to be in full uniform. We strongly suggest that you prepare for this now and start ordering your uniforms for next year in term 4.
The prices are below. All uniform items are purchased here at school not from anywhere else. If you are going to have some difficulties purchasing the uniform, I encourage you to come in and speak with the Principal so that we can help out. Automatic Payments can be set up in preparation for this transition. Come and see the office staff.
For Boys and Girls
Hats with the logo (Compulsory in Terms 1 and 4).
Polo Fleece (can choose to wear the fleece or the jacket or both)
Shorts (can wear these all year round if you choose too).
These items should be majority black in colour and can be purchased anywhere.
Skort – is a pair of shorts with a fabric panel resembling a skirt covering the front
The skort can be worn all year round – in the winter the girls can choose to put black tights under the skort. They also have the choice of wearing the uniform pants or the uniform shorts.
Tainui is SunSmart school which means in Terms 1 and 4 of every school year we ask that your child has a school hat to keep protected from the sun. This term if you child does not have a school hat we still have some in stock and these can be purchased from the school, however, because we are changing our hat which is more cost effective and better designed next year we are allowing children to bring their own hat from home to wear for the remainder of this year
