MUSIC - "Find your voice & your sound"

Our specialist Music classes invite tamariki to explore rhythm, singing, instruments and performance with expert guidance. Learners grow confidence, creativity, focus and teamwork as they discover their own voice and their own sound. Alongside classroom Music, we offer choir, piano, drumming, guitar and ukulele — giving every child the chance to try something new and find what they enjoy.

In Years 4–8, waiata is part of most mornings, giving tamariki a daily chance to connect, centre themselves and start the day with pride and unity.

For many children, Music becomes a powerful place to belong, participate and experience success.

 

FOOD TECH - "Skills for Life"

Our specialist Cooking classes make learning practical, purposeful and memorable for our year 7 & 8 students. Tamariki follow processes, work safely, collaborate, solve problems and create something they can be proud of. These useful everyday skills build independence and confidence well beyond the classroom.

 

JAPANESE LANGUAGE - "Speak, Connect, Discover" 

Our specialist Japanese language classes inspire Year 7 & 8 tamariki to communicate, connect and discover. Tamariki learn practical Japanese while exploring the culture, traditions and everyday life of Japan. Through conversation, activities and cultural experiences, students build confidence, curiosity and an appreciation for different ways of seeing and communicating. These skills open the door to new experiences and connections beyond the classroom.
